Each year we sponsor a charity that we help financially. This year NBB Recycled Furniture is sponsoring a fantastic charity called School of Kindness - part of the 52 Lives group. It's a great charity, running free kindness workshops for children across the UK, to help create a culture of kindness in schools.
The aim is to empower children by helping them realise that the little choices they make every day have the power to change lives and change the world, while also improving their own physical and mental health.
As well as free workshops, the School of Kindness also offers free lesson plans and resources for teachers, as well as small grants to children with amazing ideas for spreading kindness.

We have an ongoing relationship with Julia’s House Hospice. Julia’s House Hospice is located in Corfe Mullen, Dorset. It is a hospice for children with life-limiting conditions.
The hospice costs £1.9million to be maintained every year so all money raised for it is very much needed. We like to donate to Julia’s House Hospice by raising money at events such as Plane Pull Competition & Fun Run 2019. We also donate all our profits from our work tuck shop.
We also support our local soup kitchen Hope For Food. Hope For Food is a local charity based in Bournemouth. The organisation was founded in 2012 with the aim of providing life’s basic essentials on a day to day basis to people in need of desperate help. This year, we have made a cash donation, staff have donated food and the company has donated PPE during COVID19 crisis.
